What information we collect

We may collect personal information when you contact us, make an enquiry, book a call, work with us, attend a workshop, complete a survey or give feedback.

  • information you provide in enquiries, calls or emails
  • information about your organisation, team or project
  • workshop attendance information
  • survey responses about your experience, confidence and training needs
  • feedback about a workshop or service

Where an organisation commissions us to deliver a workshop, it may provide information such as participant names, job titles, departments, organisations and work email addresses so that we can plan and deliver the session.

When you attend a workshop or complete a related survey, we may collect your name, job title, department, organisation, responses about your experience and training needs, and feedback about the session. We may also collect your work email address where needed, such as when participants come from more than one organisation.

We ask you not to include confidential information, special category personal data or personal information about other people in workshop surveys, feedback forms or general enquiries unless it is necessary and you are authorised to share it.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries
  • arrange calls or meetings
  • prepare proposals and agreements
  • provide consultancy, training, facilitation and coaching services
  • plan and deliver workshops
  • tailor workshop content to participants’ needs

Workshop surveys and feedback

We use workshop and survey information to prepare and tailor the workshop, deliver the session, understand participants’ starting points, and evaluate the usefulness and impact of the training.

Where a workshop is commissioned by an organisation, we may share relevant attendance information, feedback, evaluation findings and summary themes with that organisation.

We will make clear in the survey or event information if named individual responses will be shared.

AI-assisted analysis

We may use selected AI tools to help organise, summarise and identify themes in workshop survey responses and feedback.

These responses may include business contact details such as names, roles, organisations and work email addresses where those details are collected through the survey.

We use the information for workshop preparation, delivery and evaluation, and review AI-assisted outputs before using them.

Testimonials

Where you give permission, we may use selected feedback as a testimonial on our website, in proposals, social media, workshop materials or other marketing.

We will use it in the form you agreed, either with your name and professional details or anonymously.

You can withdraw permission for future use by contacting us.

Lawful bases

We only use personal information where we have a lawful basis.

Depending on the situation, we may rely on:

  • contract, where we need to use information to provide services or take steps before agreeing work
  • legitimate interests, where we use information in a way that is reasonable, expected and proportionate for running our business and delivering services
  • legal obligation, where we need to keep records for tax, accounting or legal reasons
  • consent, where you have specifically agreed to something, such as use of a testimonial

Where we use workshop and survey information to prepare, deliver and evaluate training, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest, and where relevant the client organisation’s legitimate interest, in providing and improving the commissioned service.

Where we use your feedback as a testimonial, we rely on your consent.

Who we share information with

We may share personal information with:

  • the organisation that commissioned the work, where relevant
  • technology providers we use to run the business, such as email, cloud storage, forms, video calls and productivity tools
  • selected AI tools used for workshop preparation, delivery and evaluation
  • accounting, legal or professional advisers
  • government bodies or regulators where required by law

Some of the technology providers we use may process data outside the UK. Where this creates a restricted international transfer, we use appropriate safeguards where required by UK data protection law.

We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it.

We usually keep enquiry information for up to 12 months unless you become a client, in which case we keep relevant records longer for business, legal, tax and accounting reasons.

We usually keep named workshop survey responses and evaluation forms for up to 12 months after the workshop.

We may keep anonymised themes, statistics and testimonials for longer.

We may keep invoice, accounting and tax records for as long as required by law.

Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site.

These analytics cookies are only set where you give consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent through the cookie controls on the website.

We currently retain Google Analytics data for up to 14 months.

Google Analytics ads personalisation may be enabled.

We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors.

This site may load Google Fonts from Google’s servers. When this happens, your browser sends technical information, such as your IP address, to Google so the fonts can be delivered.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.

This includes using established business systems, access controls and proportionate security measures.

No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to use tools and processes that are appropriate for the type of information we handle.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of your personal information
  • ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • ask us to delete information
  • ask us to restrict how information is used
  • object to certain uses of your information, including some uses based on legitimate interests
  • ask us to transfer certain information to you or another provider, where the right to data portability applies
  • withdraw consent where we are relying on consent

These rights are not absolute and may depend on the lawful basis and the reason we are holding the information.
