About
Brooke Gallagher is an independent AI literacy and training consultant. She works with arts and cultural organisations and SMEs, helping teams build practical AI skills for the work they do every day.
She has spent 20 years in the arts, cultural, and software sectors, helping people make the most of the tools at their disposal. Her earlier roles include ATG Theatres, CRM Systems Manager at the National Theatre, and Product Specialist at Tessitura Network. She then spent 8 years at Spektrix, the ticketing and CRM platform for the cultural sector, most recently as Head of Community and Events. In that role she led adoption through events, managed a team across two continents, ran 45+ events a year, and built community programmes serving 750+ client organisations.
She began working with teams on AI because she kept seeing smart, capable people with access to powerful tools, held back by a lack of confidence, capacity, and inspiration. She founded Brooke Gallagher Consulting in 2025 to do that work full time. To date she has trained 500+ people in AI adoption across the arts, culture, and software sectors, from first-time prompters to marketing directors building custom workflows.
What Brooke Does
Brooke Gallagher Consulting offers four services.
AI literacy and training sessions for teams. Hands-on sessions that start with core principles, move to optimising each person's individual AI setup, then practise prompting and context. Teams build a reusable Agent or Skill they can use straight away. Sessions are built around the tools a team already has, including free and standard versions.
Brooke provides specialist training focused on Microsoft 365 Copilot - MS365 Copilot Basic and Microsoft 365 Copilot Premium.
AI workflow solutions. Identifying and building workflow automations tailored to a team, so repetitive tasks take less time. Examples include a skill that catches errors in copy before it reaches a manager, a translation tool that produces on-brand copy in other languages, a research agent for sponsor or programming due diligence, a critical friend that challenges vague ideas, and a Board Report agent that drafts a first version in the right format.
AI policy and tool selection. Developing an AI policy that fits an organisation's values, priorities, and risks, and choosing the right tools for its context. The work makes room for differing views across the team, including genuine reservations about ethics, workforce impact, or critical thinking.
1:1 coaching. Individual AI coaching for managers, senior leaders, and solopreneurs, usually online. It begins with a setup, optimisation, and fundamentals session, then moves to regular sessions on the person's own tasks and projects, and ends with a review and recommendations.
Approach
Brooke's three stated values are human-centred, practical, and tailored.
- Human-centred: Creativity, critical thinking, and judgement stay with the person. AI supports the work and doesn't replace the people doing it.
- Practical: People leave with prompts, workflows, and tools they can use immediately, built around their real tasks and projects.
- Tailored: Every session is built around the team's needs and starting point, so the capability lasts after the session or project ends.
She works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot, on both free and paid plans.
